Departure: Being a transfer shared with other people, it is likely that you have a waiting time at the airport or the time to pick up for other passengers at hotels in Fortaleza.

How to come by rented or own car.
We recommend the first option **
Arriving at Jijoca you'll have two options:
1- Leave the car at the "central parking". Follow google maps link to the central parking at Jijoca*.

* Jijoca is one of the last cities where the asphalt arrives, before crossing the dunes to get to Jeri.
That parking cost approximately BRL R$15 day. Ask the person in charge of the parking for a truck called "Jardineira" (Chevrolet D20) who charge BRL R$20 per person approximately, and will drive you till the door of our Posada.
The last day, on the way back to Jijoca, will need to go to San Francisco street (close to the Pousada) where the drivers have a line of trucks, that take you back to Jijoca, and you can ask to pass through the Posada to pick up the luggage, keeping the places for the people who need it.
The driver must know were the Villa Medina Jeri is located, in case ho don't know, just inform, in front of the Pousada Peixe D'ouro (old Pousada).
2 - Cross the dunes with a Guide (Care **) Arriving at Jijoca, you need to hire a guide to cross the dunes, approximately BRL R$60. Arriving at Jeri Village you can not use the car, the Villa is located in a protected area. The guide should come to our Pousada, to leave the luggage and return with the car to the parking located at the entrance of the Village, which has a daily of BRL R$20 approximately. They have a free shuttle service to our Pousada and back (450 meters distance).
** Car rental agencies can penalize drivers, if they know that the car was used on the beach, dunes or any place with sand. That's why we recommend leaving the car in Jijoca, first option). Check your Car Rental Agency contract.
